April 8th Grade 8 ABRSM Piano Exam (Part 1)

April 8th Early in the morning (somewhere around 8.30 to 9.00... 4gotten da time jor.. XP)

Waking up to the dawn of a new day... With golden rays of the sun piercing through the curtains of the windows in my room.. The gentle rays shining ever so brightly, giving a warm peck on the cheek the moment i rose to a new day..

Today marks the "Beginning of an End" and the "End of a new Beginning" for me as i will be having my grade 8 piano exam... It has been 3 and a half year or hardship, joyous moment, passion that brought me here.. Not to mentioned the support from parents, teachers and friends alike.. From the first time i sat in front of the piano for the first time in form 3.. To the first time i sat in front of the piano performing for the first time for Yak Chee's Cultural Night performance alongside several other friends (names omitted due to privacy). It has been a long and exciting journey and that same journey is coming to an end...

9.45 a.m. (after breakfast, shower and all the other tasks....)

As the seconds tick by, i sat in front of the piano, warming myself up for the impending performance which  is going to happen at 12.30p.m. later. From scales to the three pieces i chose to play... I can only dream and imagine what comes after this stage of my relationship with music as my fingers slide from key to key, sounding notes that weaves into strings of melody, my body moving according to the flow of the song..

11.00 a.m.

Its now time to leave for my performance at Hotel Istana KL.. To calm myself, i played one of the pieces i love called Passion, a song from Kingdom Hearts arranged by Kyle Landry.. After that... Its departure time... Hotel Istana... Here I come......
